CAST Inc. was founded on September 26, 2019 (founders: Kei Nakatsuma, Masayuki Tanabe, Makiko Kobayashi),
Kei Nakatsuma was appointed as Representative Director and Masayuki Tanabe as Director. The company was certified as a "University Venture" by Kumamoto University.
The three founders (Nakatsuma, Tanabe, and Kobayashi) have been conducting research at Kumamoto University on sol-gel composite flexible piezoelectric device technology and will aim to realize sensors that can be used in various fields such as factories, medical sites, and daily life.
